County Resources for Fire-Impact Residents

L.A. County residents directly impacted by the fires can request free copies of vital records and property records to support their recovery. Follow these official channels for easy access.

Call (800) 201-8999, option 1, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Immediate family members may request certified copies. You'll need the name on the certificate, the date of the event, and your relationship to the registrant.

Same-day in person for records from 1962 to present. All other requests are processed within 5 business days.

Anyone can request property records. You'll need the grantor or grantee name and approximate recording date.
